No engine power
Took a trip out west awhile back and heading into the mountains the jeep had no power getting up the hills. Truckers were beating me up the hills!!!!! I have an automatic with 5:38's and 37 inch tires, superchips installed and a snorkel with a K&n filter. What can I do to get some extra horsepower going?

Keep the 5.38's and drop down to 33's?
Oh, and here is another Lack of Power thread right here on the first page...

33's would not give the clearance needed for wheelin. As for a six speed my knees would not keep up . I was thinking of replacing the engine after the warrenty expires. We'll see. Any other ideas?

I'm wondering if your snorkel might be limiting air volume. You might try short cutting the air flow for a test.
I live in the west, have a 6 speed, stock 4.10 gears and 32.5" tires. I have absolutely no problems. So, maybe you had the wrong flash settings on your Superchips? Unless you were pulling a trailer without the trailer settings, or had your Jeep severely overloaded it should have been fine.
If you were in some of the states where they were using 10% or better corn oil in your gas that would kill you right there.

Browse through any/all of the other 100's of threads concerning the lack of power on this particular engine. You'll see that adding every 'relatively inexpensive' engine mod imaginable does anywhere from nothing to very little in the way of improving power. To get the gains to run an auto with 37's up the side of a mountain at freeway speeds, you'll want to start looking at the supercharger and hemi install threads...
