Actually, many of the Nitto tires are made in the US, and honestly they are better quality tires

very true. with the exception of a few big sizes, most all nittos are made by americans, right here in the usa and at one of the most sophisticated plant in the world which is located in georgia.

And they also balance very well, because they are made round to begin with! Check out my Nittos:

Uh-oh. Now what?

The BF Goodrich tire brand is owned by Michelin, a French company.

So you took off you Nittos (an American brand owned by Japanese company Toyo) and replace with BFGs, an American brand owned by French company.

Both are actually manufactured in the USA. Notice I said in the USA, not America. Made in America can be claimed by anything made in the America's, including Central and South America (hence RR's claims of bumpers being Made in America, that are actually made in Central America).
Oh no!!!!!! Now I am going to have to sell my BFG's!
I have no problem with Italians but the French!? HAHA

Actually guys I was just having a little fun this morning. I love Sake and Sapporo and you might even find me eating sushi sometimes. Nitto's, BFG's whatever floats your boat -) its all good with me.
Finally over 50 posts i can now sell some stuff on here!
Thanks!!!

I've been running 285/70 17 Trail grapplers for about a year. Great tire, although the 285's are load range E and are a little rough at times (28psi) but they are worth it Offroad and in mud. They are mounted on 17" addicts with a combined weight 92lbs.

Yes, that, and you have one of the best tires on this planet!
I switched from 32"Nitto Terras to 35" Nitto Trails, which are heavier, but look at the sidewall protection you are gaining :-)
