Nitto Terra Grappler AT vs Goodyear Duratrac opinion
Nitto Terra Grappler AT vs Goodyear Duratrac, whats your opinions? Nitto in a 295/70/18 is $252.00 and the Duratracs are $292.00 . I will mostly be doing highway driving back and forth to work, with going offroad sometimes.

Terra Grapplers are a good tire for all around, but the Duratrac is better in winter and moist soil if you stay out of the wet dirt the Terra Grappler will work great for the All around use.

Terra Grapplers are great tires for the occasional off roader. Very smooth and quiet and wear well. I have had three sets of Terra Grapplers(one set on each of my JKs and a set on my Ram 1500 4X4). I cant speak for the Goodyears

I've used both
I'm on a set of Dura-Tracs right now. They are fantastic.
The Nittos were also great. I ran a set for 40k miles. I was commuting out of town, lot's of highway miles.
Both tires are great. I went with the Dura-Tracs 'cause I found they weigh a little less than the Nitto's.
IMO You can't go wrong either way !

The Nitto's are notroriously heavy, especially in comparison to the Duratracs. I would compare the weights in those sizes. I have heard nothing but good about the DT's on JK's, great on and off road, even pretty good in the snow and rain. A jack of all trades...

Whats the ride on a 'E' rated Duratrac 295/65/18 going to be like.
Will it not be a bit hard or would you run this at a lower pressure to compensate for the heavier duty side walls.
Been looking at this tyre also for my 18's but unsure if the ride on road would be rocky.
