Smile Nitto Grapplers A/T vs. BFG M/T

I'm interested in the procomp 7005 rim, but I cant decide between the Nitto Grappler or the BFG/ mts. I want a 32 or 33 inch tire because i dont have a lift. Do i need spacers?. I'm sort of new to this stuff, but I'm trying real hard to learn. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot....

You're comparing the nitto terra grappler (AT) with the bfg km2 (MT), right? Well, umm, completely different tires...

Start here in the Wheels & Tires area of the FAQ:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/modified-tech-faq-answers-questions-every-newbie-has-18617/

Then decide if you want an All Terrain, or a Mud Terrain.

Just went through the same thing. Go with the BF KM2's. I just got them and love it. Quiet on the road and handle really well. I also went with a 16" wheel over the 17". Tires and wheels are cheaper as 16". You should not need spacers with those wheels if you are planning on running P285/75/r16 or 17 depending....

I just liked the look of the Nitto Grapplers. Really had no other reason to go with them

Go with what you like. The Nitto will be a better daily driver over the muds. If you don't plan on wheeling alot then they may be the better choice.

The stock rubicon tires are KM's. KM2's are just a new design, i've got the KM's on my X. They're a little more on the to the "off road" side. KM2's are a little more "refined".

I hated the nitto tera crappler A/Ts that I put on my my Jeep when I first got it. I sold them with like 6k miles on them for 1/3rd what I payed. I like my mud grapplers though. I will not buy the Terrable Crapplers again. Go BFG/
