^^^^ What he said! Smooth end first. The ribbed end should be closest to your tires. Believe me, when the ribbed in starts going in, those last couple of inches are going to be a PIA to hammer in.

I will be installing these in the next few weeks. Did you guy pull of your diff cover? Replace the inner axle seals? Thanks guys

I can see why these are no weld sleeves, they look tight. How's it handle and feel after the install?

After these were installed, the front end felt firm.Sounds but everyone who had these installed said the same thing,including myself

Wow, the tool is key!! I watched the video without listening to the sound (didn't want to get busted... lol). I will watch and listen again. Hopefully it describes what's on the end of the tool that you guys built.

It's the bearing driver with the wider end facing the sleeve.I stacked some washers that measured the same ID as the sleeve to keep from moving around.I built this tool because the first attempts using the required tool failed in a short time.
