I just installed the rugged ridge aluminum latches. Awesome beefy look, adjustable and absolutely no hood movement!

Thinking about getting these. As you know when you see that good flutter and notice after a few years the original hood latches don't seem like a good it's a good idea to keep. How was the install??? It looks good!

I recently installed the Rampage locking hood latches to keep my RIPP safe and sound. Install was fairly straight forward, took a buddy and I to do it due to some awkward angles when removing the factory latches from the fender. After a couple times readjusting, (were way to tight the first couple tries) but got it perfect and they are working out great. Love the look as they blend in much better. Little more expensive than the daystars or the DIY mods but needed the extra security
