jeepguy you make a really really good point, i live in north jersey with a lot of "mountains" and a lot of my off-roading is in some really hilly areas.
I think i'm going to get the rims, and prob the 33" only because 35" with my 3.73 gearing is going to be a dog on hills and such, unless i do 35" and gears, but i don't wanna wait to mod it more
I'm so hooked on this Jeep.

fireguy , what i ment was on the hiway with 35s you will be downshifting often with your 373s , on the trails you wont feel it at all , if you think your going to want the 35s do it now or you will curse yourself , but keep in mind that gears are in your future, about $1000-$1200 bucksto regear , i have the 33 for a month and want to move up to a minimum of 35s because i went to rausch pk , if you trail ride your jeep your going to get hooked and want to spend money over and over jeep =emty pockets

I agree with the 35's. I have 35's with 3.21 gears and a manual, and I drive here in Germany on the Autobahn all the time (I'm in the US Army in Ansbach). It isn't so bad, but I have a hard time keeping the Jeep in 6th gear though. I need the high gears for the highway, so I have waited to change them, and haven't really had a problem yet. There are a lot of hills over here too, and I trail ride a lot, and haven't been mad at myself for the gearing yet. I get 18+ MPG with my intake, exhaust, hypertech and the 35's on the Autobahn at 85 MPH, so it's not too bad. I have a 2.5" lift, 17X9 ProComps with 4.5" backspacing and only get minimal rubbing, at about 3/4 flex in a turn on the front end. Good luck.

I would have to agree... get the 35's... lol. I bought 33's because I didin't know how long it would be before the lift would be here. Then the 33's didn't even rub. Should have bought the 35's. (Regret.. regret... regret) with the lift, 35's, and the roof rack; overdrive is usless unless going downhill. A re-gear to 5.13s is almost a complete gear drop. final drive for 4th would be almost the same as 3rd was. So... 35's wouldn't change my driving at all. Just lower my RPM to a more feaseable spot on the highway untill I buy gears.

I agree with them. I started thinking about 35's then thought 33's would be enough. Since I started thinking about 35's, I've decided to go with 35's when I buy new tires so I won't regret it.

After wheeling this thing.. I'm no longer torn about 33's or 35's. Now my torment is how do I afford 37's... very very soon. It's just crazy. 250 for 35's. 400 each for 37's. Daily driver. Rouch. then there are the gears to consider.
