Ok gentlemen i need your help.

I have a Rough Country 2.5 spacer lift w/ 2.2 shocks on its way.

What i am trying to figure out is two things.

I am looking at upgrading my tires to the Toyo Open Country MT tires.

I am looking at the Procomp series 97 16x8 rims.

The total of 5 rims and tires comes to $1700.

Should i invest in these tires and rims or would i be better served by a winch??
I am interested in the milemarker hydraulic winches.

Also am i going to run into any issues with these tires being just under 35'??

if you're even considering 35's, that's what you should go with or else you will regret it later - trust me on this

I am seriously considering them, but $2000 is a lot of $$$ to spend.

Not only will the tires help when you are wheeling, your Jeep will look better while doing it. If you are going to lift it you will want the bigger shoes, otherwise you will look at it everyday and kick yourself.

hey fireguy what kind of gears do you have i have 3.21 and its not so bad with the 33's actually really good i traded up about 3 months ago to nitto muds and seriously made my truck beastly offroad and rediculous in mud concider nittos although loud very awesome. 35's look awesome but if not right gearing no point i wouldnt do it unless you have at least 4.10 gears. oh and def put in tires before putting in winch because with out good tires all you will be doing is winchign yourself out of everything because you don't have good tires def tires first imo also you can keep your stock wheels and just do spacers which are only 200 brand new instead of new wheels.

I thought about it, but since the tires are around $85 more per tire if i stick with stock, i don't think it's worth it.

I do not have the tow package, so no 4.10's

Check the backspacing on the wheel your buying. On a 16x8 most come with 4" backspacing. I went with the Craggars which have 4.5" backspacing. The difference will be where in the fender your tires will be when you flex. With the 4" backspacing the tires will rub the outter part of the flare. With 4.5" backspacing they will clear the outer part of the flare.

im running a RC 2.5 BB lift ans 33/12.5/17 DC fun countrys and at full flex discoed my tires just slightly rub the fenders, just noise no damage being done, if you want to go with the 35 id sugest the 2.5 bb and a 1 -2 in body lft , you will have now rubbing issues at all, good luck
