Default Bushwaker FLares

I am so disappointed from Bushwacker and have decided to drop the idea of putting the pocket style flares. Just got off the phone from Bushwacker and they told me they are only gona produce smooth pocket style flares for JK 07 4 or 2 door. Not the textured ones.

There will be no difference between the stock OEM style flares and bushwacker except the bigger tire coverage.
Why would i spend 700 bucks on something which will look like the same as stock but just a little extended unless you wana piant them and than scracth them later in the bushes. SAD SAD:sad:

I totally agree with Zak. I ordered a set of textured flairs only to find out 6 weeks later that Bushwacker was not going to make textured. I founf this out by them just sending me the paintable ones. I would say that was Bush league. I guess they figured I would not notice!

Default anyone seen these

On the "Extreme 4x4" show on SPIKE's JK unlimited build-up they had some steel tube flares and I think they called them Rev 111's. Anyone seen these in person?

Not sure if if it's relevant, but my body shop told me that textured plastic was almost impossible to paint and have the paint stay adhered.

krylon fusion is designed for that. you have to reapply every so often, but c'est la vie.

rev111 does make metal flatties.

If I wanted them bad enough, I would just have them shot with Line-X. It would be textured, and a whole lot scratch resistant than paint.
