Can't say anything about banks but a ton of us are using supchips. Definitly worth the money from my experience.

I'm partial to Hypertech.

I have the new version that they updated the hardware and software for free from my 2008 model programmer. Lots of features I don't see with the Banks unit.

Don't know when the new Hypertech features are available to everyone (need to PM them for a special update), but I'm sure it won't be long. Their web site doesn't say much about the new stuff. Here's a thread I did reviewing some of the new features. It should give you a pretty good idea of what's coming soon.

I have a superchips sitting in the corner... Without bigger tires / CAI / etc.. It's about worthless..

Did I see performance increase? Yes I did. It shifted better, and got slightly better acceleration profiles..

But no matter what setting I tried, it caused pinging. no better fuel economy.

I DID like the towing setting... didn't seem to have the pinging issues.

But bottom line is that I won't use it if it's going to be tearing up the engine.
