Default New tires for Spring -- LTBs w/ 15" beadlocks?

I'm already looking at new tires for next Spring... My usual summer tires are 33x11.5" Toyo MTs on 16" alum. wheels, but I'm thinking of putting on some more aggressive 35s for multi-day trail rides. I would probably do a little highway, but I really don't care about road manners, balancing, etc. -- I'd like to buy the best trail tire I can get. Specifically, for the NE where there's plenty of mud, wet rocks, tight forest trails, etc. My one constraint though is I'd like 'em to be non-directional so I can do a 5 tire rotation. I'm also looking at 15" beadlocks... So, I'm open to suggestions. :-) What do you think of the Interco LTB in 35x12.50-15LT? I'm thinking of an alum. beadlock too, to keep the weight down. Maybe something in 15x10" with a 3.5" BS to avoid rubbing? 17" beadlocks are easy to find, but haven't found any decent 15" beadlocks yet. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
js.

If you really dont care about road manners and want the best TRAIL tire I can really only think of one:http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Imag...5/47425-md.jpg.

Now if you decide to lose the non-directional idea, you cant go wrong with:

Man the I can't tell you how good LTB"s are on "light vehilces". They are a great trail, mud, rock, well anything you throw at them. I know of at least 8 guys that run them on their trail rigs and love them. They seem to handle anything and have a really strong sidewall for low air pressure. As long as you don't mind a little bouncing on cold mornings you will be happy with the performance without a doubt. As for the aluminum bead lock Trail Ready makes a nice looking one and they are reasonable in price. Good luck... I can't wait to see pics of this rig.

Both the Iroks and Boggers have a directional tread, which is why I'm leaning towards the LTBs....

My brother has LTB's on his XJ and loves them off road. He get crazy traction with them. I have no idea how they are on the street though... his XJ isnt street legal.

I just got a reply from Trailready, and according to them, their HD15 beadlock will fit the JK -- when it's available in a few weeks. So I guess it's a good thing I'm planning this for Spring. :-) They're offering it in 3.5, 4, and 4.5" BS, so that'll be another tough choice... I'm guessing 4" BS will probably be best with a 35x12.5" tire...

I wouldn't mind a 16" beadlock -- the LTBs in 35x12.5-16LT have been announced -- but 16" beadlocks are near impossible to find. It seems like all manufacturers jump from 15" to 17". I guess it's a personal preference kinda thing, but I prefer a smaller diameter wheel...
