Default new tires

It's that time I've got about 73K+ miles on my tires and I am looking for new tires. Right now they are p255/70R18 and one of the questions I have is how much taller can I go without any lifts? Also I am looking for a good all terrain tire that will let me play off road as well as on road. I Would like to keep the rims but if I have to get rid of them then I will, but only if I have to. Any and all ideas / suggestions are welcome.

My suggestion is 265x70/18. It's about .5" larger in diameter and .5" wider. No rubbing and your spedo will hardly notice.

The tire I would suggest is the Nitto Terra Grappler, an all-terrain tire.

I'd go with some 33's. You can fit a 285/65-18 (33x11.50) using you OEM wheels but they will rub the control arms at full steering lock unless you run wheel spacers. Personally, I'd add a small budget boost and go with a set of aftermarket 9 inch wide wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing and some 33x12.50's.

Ive got 33in falken rocky mountain all terrains on after market rims It's to my understanding that the offset from the aftermarket rims makes them not rub if you keep stock rims there will be some rub. I love my tires there great on road and off gives a good grip at all times.

you can run a 33 inch tire and add a few washers to your steering stops if you didn't wanna get wheel spacers right now.
