New Tires
Tax return is on the way. Trying to decide on a tire size. I'm gonna get Goodyear Duratracs, but can't decide on LT285/70R17 or the LT315/70R17. I have a Teraflex 2.5 inch spring lift and ProComp 17X9 wheels with 4.5 backspacing. It's a DD. What do you think would look best? Pictures would be great.

go 33's if you want to limit your power loss for your DD and still get a slightly bigger/wider tire for off-road benefit. Your Rubi and 4.10's will turn those just fine will almost no noticeable change even at highway speeds.
35's will fit and look great but you'll probably want to consider further mods down the road to accomodate them (spare tire mount, maybe gears, programmer ?).
Just something to consider as many on here will recommend going to 35's.
Personally I think 33's look great with this lift height...but I'm a bit biased

I was planning on a Flashpaq if I went bigger, and a new rear bumper is also on the list. I just don't need a taller suspension with the amount off roading available in The Peoples Republic of Illinois. Just don't want it to look like the tires are crammed in there. I'm leaning towards bigger. Biggers gotta be better.

But yes, I agree with 35" tires a programmer is recommended. I recommend a programmer for any increase in tire size due to the TPMS and speedo.

I'd love 35's, but went with 33's because I didn't want to spend the money on regearing. But, if I had the money I would most definitely go with 35's and regear or whatever needs to be done to get it performing well.
