Default New tire upgrade

Whats up, new guy here. I'm starting to look for new tires. After a recent trip to Rausch Creek in PA I've realized it's one of many things I need to do. I'm just running with my stock wrangler 32" tires. I wanna go bigger for one and have decent side tread. Ripped a 3" hole in a tire cuz of a slip. Another thing I need to take into consideration, this is my only vehicle so some swampers or serious mud tires are out of the question for now. Any ideas? Oh, and noise is not a factor to me....

I've had Super Swamper TRXUS's on my 02 TJ and they were very good on the street as well as offroad. Check them out.

Default tires

I have Goodyear MT/R's and very pleased with them. Not too bad on road noise, do great in the mud and snow. Great for slickrock crawling.

I drive 60 miles a day round trip and I have the KM2's. Highly recommend. I didn't think I would go off-road a whole lot but after going on some good trails I'm definitely glad I got these.

The BFG M/Ts sound like a good solution for you, of course there are a number of other great choices that are excellent performers off-road, and respectable on-road. It will always be a compromise to some degree. If Rausch Creek is a place you'll wheel I would avoid A/Ts due to the mud.
