Default New Suspension Lift for Friend

I have a friend that just purchased a '09 JK, and is looking to quickly make some adjustments. I am trying to help him not spend his entire budget on just tires & wheels and a lift. So, I am coming to you guys for your opinions. He is looking for a 3 or 4 inch lift, and remember doesn't want to break the bank. This is mainly a DD, with a manual transmission. He would like to be able to run 35x12.5x17 tires.

Some have looked at, Full Traction, TeraFlex, SkyJacker, Rancho, Rough Country, Zone

What do you have?
Why would you recommend it?

Click the Northridge link in my sig. Too many options to list. A good starter kit for most people is the Tera Flex 2.5in coil or the OME . Both will give a little over 3in of lift. And not break the bank, and allow for 35's

Check the catalog in my sig line. TeraFlex offers 6 different 2.5" kits and a leveling kit for JK's.

Figured you'd pop up any minute. If you get a TF kit, you can be damn sure that the customer service they supply is second to none!

no... click the link in MY sig

seriously, what mkjeep said. both are good options. i would stay away from the skyjacker products, i think they have pretty shitty shocks.

good luck and get him on the forum!!!!

With out knowing how much you would like to spend the options are too many to mention. I would start with companies like Teraflex, Rubicon Express and other that make good quality stuff. I am not sponsored by or work for Northridge4x4 so I don’t have a link to there website. Hopefully you will get some feedback that you can use. The more info you give out, the better answers you will get.
