from your original post, a 285 isn't a 34" tire. The 305 70 17 is the 34. I ran a bb and 35" stt coopers and loved it.

Well, according to Nitto's spec, the 285/75R17 is 33.86 inches.... Close enough for me to call it a 34" tire.
And the 305/70R17 you mention is 33.98.
We are talking Terra Grapplers. Other threads would be slightly different due to thread depth.

I would say they both are 34" tires, but we all have different opinions. I would think a 0.12 difference is not going to look or perform much different ( if we don't count the with) But I have been wrong before, and there might be some things here I missed.

Been running the TF 2.5 inch coil lift and Bilstein 5100's for a couple of weeks, very happy. 285/75/17 KM2's are next
