There has to be a 1.25 inch gap... and if you have a manual there had to be some modification so the shifter wouldn't hit the body.

I personally don't mind the small gap a 1 inch ( or 1.5 inch ) BL creates.

You have to trim back the inner shift boot so the material doesn't bind it up!

any issues with running the 35's on the stock wheels?

That is with the Rough Country spare tire adapter. The tire fits nice and snug, no movement. I will eventually get a rear bumper with spare tire rack. I will keep an eye on the hinge welds, I have seen a couple crack.

You'll need 1.5" spacers to run the stock wheels. I haven't re-geared yet. It definitely needs 4:88's. It's ok around town, 6th gear is useless, unless I'm on a flat hwy, and I have to downshift for hills. I knew this going in, just have to put up with it until I re-gear. It looks and rides great IMHO.

Do you have 3.21 or 3.73 gears now?
