Default New Mopar 2" lift installed

Just purchased my 3rd Wrangler (2nd JK) and had a 2" Mopar lift with 35" KM2's installed yesterday. My previous JK was a 2011 with a 2.5" Rough Country w/Maxxis 305's. I thought the ride quality of the RC was better compared to stock but the Mopar is leaps and bounds better in regards to ride quality and less noisy. I did some before/after measurements with the 2" Mopar (Sorry, no before/after measurements of the RC).

I measured the front/rear parallel with the center of the wheel up to the bottom of the fender. Front Before=35 1/2".....After=40 1/2". Rear Before=35 3/4".....After 40 1/2". Step in height lip went from 22 3/4" to 26 3/4".

Also added 1.5" Rough Country wheel spacers and Morryde tire carrier. I used 1.5" RC spacers on my previous Wrangler for over 50K miles without a single issue and the price this time around cannot be beat.

I'm only on day 2 with the lift but am extremely happy with it. I got WAY more lift/clearance then I thought I would just based off of previous posts and pictures.Click image for larger version

Looks good, definitely got more than 2" out of it, I am sure it will settle a bit and more importantly after you add weight (bumpers, winch, skids) you will still have the advertised 2".

I just purchased the Mopar 2" lift as well. Your measurements seem a bit confusing. Are the measurements including the before/after bigger tires? The reason I ask is because most others with this lift are reporting about 3in lift in the front and 2.5in for the rear. You're at 5" in the front and 4 3/4in in the rear. So I'm speculating you included the new tires in the measurement, thus the reason you're 2in higher than everyone else. So you provided a Lift + new Tires measurement?

My measurements are before (stock) and after (2" lift and 35" tires). I was under the same assumption as you....everyone was at roughly 3" of lift. I don't plan on adding anything else except maybe 4.88 gears but that's way down the road. I assume it will settle a bit....hopefully not too much because I like where it's at right now!

Thanks makes sense and congrats. It looks great and it's good to hear it rides great, because that's what I heard from others as well with this lift and is the reason I went with it as well. It sounds like we'll be similar paths of upgrades. I'll be looking for 5.13 gears in the future and wanting to add lockers, but that seems like a pretty big investment since I'll need to get a new front axle as well since my Sahara has a DANA 30.

My plan is to keep it as stock as possible (minus lift and tires). I don't plan on taking it on any trails any time soon so there's no need for aftermarket bumpers, sliders, lockers, winch, etc. Good luck on your build!!
