New to me Jk has a weird noise.
So I sold my 98 Tj and bought a 2007 unlimited on my way home. On the ride home I noticed a strange rattling type noise coming from the shifter while in 2,4,6 gears. Does not sound like anything major but it's annoying me now. Any though on what it could be? The jeep has a 3.5" lift and 35"s could it be anything to do with that?

Maybe they didn't change the front drive shaft after the 3.5" lift and your getting driveline vibration?
Though I would expect that to happen regardless of gear, no worries dirtman or one of the other aces will chime in shortly and make me look like an idiot lol
