Default New JK Drive Home with 34"s

Planning on trading in my JK for a 13. I am going to swap out the Rubi wheels/tires for mine. I currently have duratracs 31570r17s which are 34.4 inches. The wheels have 4.75 inches of backspacing. The drive home is 10 miles of freeway. Do you think I will able to get home without ripping off the stock flairs? (plan on doing flat flairs and small spacer lift once home.) thanks for your input.

Go for it, you'll probably rub on the air dam.

Why don't you just wait and swap the wheels once you get home and sell the rubi takeoffs after

Nothing might happen, but then why take the chance of wrecking something. Wait till you get home, unless are you selling the tires back to the Dealer. And then are you installing a lift right away? Drive it until you do your lift and other stuff.

You wont wreck anything. We ran 35s on the JK till I could get the lift installed a week later. Tires rubbed the airdamn/valance but it didn't even leave marks on it.

I would like to keep my wheels and tires I currently have, trading in my Jeep for another. Plan on keeping the wheels and tires from my current jeep and putting them on the new Jeep. I need the Rubi take offs for my trade in, not sure the dealer would want a vehicle with no wheels and tires. The air dam is easy to take off, so I will just do that in the dealers lot, at least much easier than taking off the flairs , and then and watch out for pot holes. I guess I could also add 2 inches of bump stop in the rear really quicly as well, only 4 bolts and don't have to remove the coils..

Pic of 35s with no lift for reference. Ran it for a week or so with no problems. The back wont rub unless you have it loaded down with people or gear. Front will rub on airdam but that's it.
