Newbie here too.. Columbia, SC .. glad to find this thread, because I am unsure about what lift to use as well. I would like to put the 35" on with as little lift as possible. I like to squat / stocky look

That's what I wanted to do cause the Dana 44 can handle up to 35s without regrading. And the rubis are a little higher then sports anyway. I got the answer I needed on this thread tho. I hope it helps you out as much as it has me

From what I heard, the rubis can run 35s stock but it will be tight. That's why I got spacers. Same suspension, same ride quality, just the room for flex. This is my first jeep, but I've been around them for years with my Friends and all. The rubi is made for offroad, so I didn't replace suspension because it's for offroad/stronger then regular. Plus I only had 17xxx miles on them. Would be pointless to just throw them away. I did all my research on here. There is a thread just for rubicons that has what people did to there's to give you ideas.

So some spacers and 35's are good on a 2012 Rubi just need some spacers? I have seen people walking about 2.5 up to 4.5 spacers... any thoughts

I got some 2.5" spacers from rough country. It ha coil spacers, shock extenders, and brake line extenders. I planning on ordering some 1.5" wheel spacers, and then 315/70r17 tires for my stock rims. Which is 34.4". I believe with the suspension spacers, you can run 37s. But I want 34/35 with flexing space

It is good idea any time you mess with front suspension to get an allignment and also have them straighten out your steering wheel.
