Default Watch the backspacing on wheels

If you are going to go with a new set of wheels to go with your 33's, make sure that you watch the backspacing on the wheel. Teraflex recommends a wheel with 4.5" of backspacing or less with their 2.5" lift to avoid rubbing issues (the less backspacing, the further our your wheel will sit). I believe stock wheels have 6.25" of backspacing. For example, the ProComp wheels on my Jeep have 4.5" of backspacing and I have experienced no rubbing whatsoever. I don't know how it would go with 35's. If you go with the lift before changing wheels, you may have to get wheel spacers to avoid rubbing.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll keep looking and asking more questions. Will probably change the tires, wheels and lift at the same time. I've never used spacers don't know much about them. Still looking at different lifts, don't want regrets and gonna get ahold of northridge looks like everyone talks to them. Stay tuned youll be seeing me alot on here. I have visions of grandeur for my jeep.

You could save a few bucks and go with a budget boost. That's what I'm running and my rigs keeps up with guys with lots more lift, larger tires and lockers. Full disclosure: I do want a spring lift . . . but then I do get out on the rocks. Seems like an unnecessary expense if you're just sticking to poorly maintained hunting/logging roads.

Question

M Doiron nice rig,

J Garner I've been looking at posts for the ome lift seems everyone has the hd and pretty much got the same height as you. Does anyone know what u get with the light or medium ome. By the way my step dad just one upt me. Hes been looking at my jeep couple time a week saying he always wanted one. He just drove up in a red rock sahara brand new, not only that he's not lifting it so he stopped at the tire shop first and got new wheels already.

I have been happy running a 2" Rubicon Express with Mono shock Budget boost... with 33x12.50 Mud tire and it fits my needs nicely and did very well on trail rides.

Question

Nice rig Triplejeep 99, by the way everyone been reading posts and found out Full Traction lifts are manufactured right here in my hometown of Bakersfield Ca where it's been real hot lately. Makes me feel like I should support the local business expecially with the economy. Any thoghts on the full traction budget 2 inch or there 3 inch lifts
