may be a stupid question but do u have the supercharger on it? U mentioned the tuner was the sprintex one.

thats really strange. I'll see if I have time tomorrow to see if mine has it. What model number is your tuner? Mines the old one.

I'm kinda assuming with manual there shouldn't be an issue with the lag.

How do u like the SC otherwise? How long u had it?

I will have to check the model number.

It does seem that people with the manual jeeps are not having the same issues.

The supercharger has certainly improved the low end torque. Once I get thru the tuning issues I will be fairly satisfied.

I did have some issues with the installation tho. The one thing I will say is to do your homework if your thinking about installing one. I have had it for a few months but have driven it very minimally.

Default New Hypertech Max Energy options - what are you running?

Took off the viper throttle body and installed the stock TB today and the shifting and bouncing rpm issues are gone. I also cleaned all the surrounding areas with goo b gone. There was some adhesive on the charger where sprintex taped the intake off. Now the bogging issue during a takeoff from a standstill is next on the list.
