New Hypertech Max Energy options - what are you running?

ok....I called Hypertech today and they told me that they have had several people report this issue and the fix is to keep the throttle sensitivity adjustment settings at stock. I did this and the lag/surge is gone.........so is that feeling of extra power and the enhanced driving experience...... They told me that the engineers have been made aware of the issue, but a fix......?? Who knows?? I am holding out hope because I am very pleased with the features/performance results other than the off idle lag/surge. They said they would call me back later today...
Having said that, I have the 4LO set to -50% and love it! Makes 4LO much more manageable with the 4:1 rubi transfer case. Soooooo easy to crawl now.

I went back to stock yesterday to make sure it was a programmer issue. Once stock, the Jeep accelerated normally with no lag off idle and then sudden surge of power. I then reprogrammed and set the <10 mph throttle sensitivity to 50% .... Still just as bad... It only does this from a dead stop also. Take off from a red light under normal acceleration and at just under 10 mph, the Jeep will surge forward like you just mashed on the gas pedal. If you try to duplicate this from a slow roll, it will accelerate smoothly with no surge. it's enough of a surge that after you start going....when the power surge kicks in the wheels will spin if the roads are wet.... Dangerous if you are not expecting it...

Is the issue with the lag and sudden acceleration primarily with auto's or manual's or BOTH?...Looking to update my programmer since I haven't since I bought it over two years ago...I have a manual so I was just wondering if this issue affects both transmissions or one or the other...

lag/surge
I uploaded a file to Hypertech last week and they called me today. They said that they have been able to duplicate the issue some of us are experiencing in auto trans only. They told me it has to do with the converter locking up at low speed. The Tech guy told me the engineer knows what is causing the issue and will work on a fix. Until that time, they suggest turning throttle sensitivity setting to stock. btw.... any of you that are experiencing the lag, call Hytertech and talk to them...the more info they can get, the easier it will be to fix. I have a Viper TB....anybody else on here with the lag also running the Viper TB?

Calling Hypertech is a pain since they keep pretty much the same business hours I do. However, since they already know the problem all I can do is confirm I am experiencing the same lag issues (2008, auto trans). Will be looking forward to when the fix is available. If anyone finds out when it is available, please let the rest of us know.

Is the throttle lag the hesitation at about 2000 rpm under load? I was going up a rather steep hill, and as I began to accelerate, the engine popped, lost all power for a split second, and then continued on. I have an auto and am not currently using the throttle sensitivity option. I've also noticed some full throttle pinging which I didn't have prior to this new version coming out. My understanding is the tunes haven't changed but something is different.
