And no other diff cover is compatible? What is it a different bolt pattern?

That is correct. It is a proprietary bolt pattern and shape. My ARB Dana 44 diff cover that I had on my stock housing will not fit! Should have bought Dynatrac ProRock 44, but nobody had them in stock at the time.

So much for having a trail spare if you have a unique diff cover.. If you crack it on the trail you're F'd.

Glad I came across this... Was planning on ordering the core 44 this month.... Will be purchasing the PR 44 instead. Thank you for the heads up...

G2 is owned by the same company that owns Smittybilt, Rubicon Express and ProComp, 4 wheel parts.

Nice heads up. I'd be sending that thing back. A proprietary aluminum diff cover, I cant see where that could go wrong.

You know, if you are keeping the axle, you can have someone custom drill a cover. See if G2 will give you a credit to cover it. I'm sure they'd rather do that than pay to ship it back and give you a refund.

Dynatrac does not make a 44 rear. I have no clue how much that rear is but a rear 60 is what you should upgrade to not a 44
