the loss of ground clearance is going to be minimal. Your gaining 6" or 4" of lift.

I for one plan on buying one, soon as I can get my hands on it.. (and i have the cash flow)

As far as your harsh ride goes, to the best of my knowledge, there are no other springs you could have been sent. How do you know that you got more than 3" of lift? Where are you measuring from and are you basing this height increase on a before and after measurement? Whatever the case may be, if in fact you got your coils from FT, I can't help but to wonder if maybe your problem is still shock related. Have you tried removing your shocks and bounce on your bumper as before? If not, try it as it will help to determine what exactly is going on here.

In the mean time, I will try to give them a call myself and see if they can help you out.
It was FT that I called and who told me the owner would call back so I don't know what to tell you. I did get patched through today and Patrick (friendly and helpful) told me it sounded like they sent me the HD springs by mistake and that I should take them off and measure the height to check. I will try taking the shocks off as well although this will be it bit of a challenge with my broken arm and my floor jack and stands being back in the States. If I'm able to get creative with the little factory jack what specifically will I be looking for and should I just jump on the bumpers or actually drive it?

PIG- are you talking to me when you mention someone wanting a minivan type ride? I've owned several Jeeps and I race Motocross and Supercross with multiple bikes setup for specific tracks so please don't talk down to me as if I don't know suspensions. The fact that my JK has gotten several feet of air jumping the tabletop at my track without it bottoming out is probably a good indication that it's a little on the stiff side and a far cry from a Chrysler Town and Country Suspension.

Default JK 4-door 4 inch lift

with a 4-inch lift kit, do I need to change to longer drive shafts?

Has anyone had any issues on the rocks with the lower shock mounts and control arm brackets that hang below the axle? Im just curious if its even something worth worrying about.

No, the shock mounts are close enough to the tire, theres no need to worry, atleast I have not had any issues..

Whats the difference between the 4" and 6"? Can you go 4", then upgrade to 6" without replacing a ton of parts? That would be awesome!

im sure this is obvious but.......if the axles dont get wider and the jeep just goes higher, as some point it defeats the purpose. The increased center of gravity makes it difficult for rock crawling and such. I have a 3 inch ultimate with 35's and i feel pretty safe.
