New Frustrated and Confused
Im looking to put a 3.5in lift on my Jeep Im torn between BDS and Rock Krawler JK 3.5 Mid Arm Flex System (RKJK35FS) this one.... i dont know if they kits have everything i need to just have it installed and go. I dont know what control arms do and all the technical stuff they throw out means, or if i really even need that stuff since i dont actually plan on competing or rock climbing i just want it to look good and lifted. if somebody could help me out it would be awesome bc i feel like a handicapped kid in a AP class.... Also if someone could point me in the direction of tires size i need i would like 35s... Ive hunted all over the forums and just cant seem to piece this info together in my mind.

There is a lot of information on this forum .... and several different ways to achieve what you want.
I think your best bet to run 35's is a 2-1/2" lift. If you stay under 3.5" of lift you can avoid a lot of problems and cost.
You can give David at Northridge 4x4 an call. He is very helpful.
I'm running Rock Krawler's 3.5 Max on my Rubicon. It lifted the Jeep a lot more than 3.5". It's ok, and it does perform great off road.
Also take a look at the FAQ's on here.....that answers a lot of questions.

Ok so after watching that video... which was awesome excellent post. i decided on one of these two Rock Krawler JK 2.5 Stock Mod System (RKJK25SM) OR Rock Krawler JK 2.5 Flex System. Still debating on 33s or 35s but this will allow me to do either... My hopefully last question about this so i can stop annoying yall is!!!! Will both of these kits come with everything I need? or would i need additional components

To give you an idea of what rock krawler is capable of, my 2 door 2012 rubicon is running a 2.5 max travel with 35" tires. Drives like a dream on and off road.
Yes I went to flat flares, I did not extended the bumpstops and do give my jeep a hard workout so wanted them not to rub anywhere. This kit really gets it done.
And no I don't work for rk, but will always run their lifts!
