I got my driver side cowl dimpled the other day. I was in the woods on a trail and a limb on the ground was just barely out in the trail. As I drove past I actually ran over the very tip end and it flew up and banged the cowl. Just goes with the pin stripes I guess. I didn't buy the Jeep to drive down the interstate all the time so it is bound to happen but could have been much worse.

Same thing here. I'm super careful as well and the deal dented my drivers side when they were changing my door seal.

Mine is kind of a zit and not a dimple. I have a 2008 and I purchased a 2012 hard top for her. The header loop above the rear view mirror is needed to be moved over. While I was drilling a new hole for the rivnut, I pushed the drill through the first layer with enough force that I dented out the body from the inside!!!! Superhuman... Superhuman idiot:-(
