Default New Evo Aluminum 1/4 pounder front bumper.

Spoke with Evo about new aluminum bumper and they said it is entirely from aluminum even winch mount. Since its new there isn't too many pics available. Any thoughts about not having a winch mounted to steel insert. Only pictures I have found are from front. I know their stuff is top notch does or has anyone seen this up close?

I would hope that they made this a quality product. At the company I work for, aluminum is used at least as often as steel, and as a solid, cast part, is very strong. I wouldn't anticipate issues with it, I'd be more worried about scarring the outside of the bumper on the trail.

Thanks for the info. I'm from Florida so scaring on bumper not too much of problem except rocks at jeep beach.

I love the look of that EVO Front Bumper. If I ever switch I'm going to the new aluminum one forsure. Can't wait to see it out on the market.

Looks like the same design but ridiculously lighter.

Is it extremely overpriced like the steel one? I imagine the aluminum will be even more

I can't comment on the winch mount cause the jeep in the pics isn't mine, just one I found. Knowing off road evolution's track record I'm sure it will be very stout and top notch quality. As for price I'm sure the aluminum and weight savings will draw a high price tag.
