Default New England area regear quotes?

Hey all, looking for recommendations or any forum member quotes to do a 2 axle regear to 4:88s on my 16 Jkur. I've gotten a quote from Steves Jeep Country for $2200 parts and labor but sure it can be done for less!

I live in Rhode Island, if I can get it done for $1,500 I would jump on that.

But I called around a couple of places and it seems to be around $2,500. so screw that I'm sticking with the 321's

Quality work can be done for $800/axle. Period. I'd take a road trip and get a shop out of New England, save money and call it a vacation

Probably true but when I factor in the gas for a road trip with my 13.5 mpg the savings may be about a break even. Still worth researching though.
