Default New bumper and winch question with stock rubicon suspension

I just bought a rugged ridge XHD stubby winch bumper and it will arrive on friday. I am currently shopping around for a winch.

My question,
Once the new bumper and winch is installed will the front end droop much with the stock rubicon suspension?

Yes. How much? Dunno.

Get a ballpark figure of the weight of the bumper and winch, and have someone close to that weight stand on your bumper...

I have the same bumper with a smitty xrc10 winch. My front end dropped about an inch. I have an X though so I'm not sure the difference between the front springs. I'm about the change them out with some OME front medium springs from Northridge.

I'll be in the same boat as soon as my bumpers are finished

Just a heads up - those medium ome's don't handle weight too well.
My medium rear coils have sagged/settled about 1/2" with the soft top, 3/4" or a bit more with the hard top (stock bumper/carrier) .
The front HD coils haven't lost anything (xhd and 9.5 winch)

I installed the RR XHD Winch bumper yesterday, THis is what I did before I installed it.
I took a stock measurement to the front fender left tire... 31 5/8. I then stood on the bumper 200lbs, measured 30 1/2 = 1 1/8" sag, then my friend at 170lbs stood on the bumper,,, 30 3/4" - 7/8" sag, then his wife ~130lbs, 31" = 5/8" sag.
My winch is said to weigh 60lbs,, Recon 10500lb w/synthetic rode, the bumper I didn't weight it before.. total sag 5/8" thus about 130lbs.. I still have a the basic hoop to install which shouldn't do much more to it. Not in yet.

The problem I had was after 6 months with the winch and bumper the stock springs quit. I was almost riding on the bump stops. I have had no problems yet with the OME HD.

I am running 2 1/2 inch spacers with an otherwise stock Rubi suspension with a LOD bumper and Warn XD9000. I have been happy with the results, and there is only a slight rake.

Oh! Thanks for the heads up! I was under the impression that the mediums would be more than enough. I'll go with the hd coils then. Love this forum...
