My only complaint I have so far with mine is just how much water the top retains when it gets wet. I would worry more if I lived in an area that had really high humidity and where things don't dry very fast. I would fear mildew.
soo is it worth it? guess you have not had it thru the winter yet, but it seems wind tight? I really think I may order one and maybe get it on before winter.. Is it a huge pain in the ass to install? I have the 2007 JK. It looks good on your jeep!

Absolutely love it. I don't know if it will ever get out during the winter now that I have a '15 JKUR in addition to the '12 JKR. Click image for larger version

I think its really a cool idea, but I personally love having my top all the way down for quite some time. I would miss that ability. Looks great for fall/spring though.

I love the top and it can be completely removed although the frame stays in position. The twill keeps cabin quiet and the frame bars keep water off the roof. The entire top and windows remove very fast and easy and Bestop recently released a bag for window storage. The glass is a great convenience for rear and sides with screen is excellent. The twill look and quality is far superior than stock top. I can't find many if any negatives about this top. Install was a little hassle but now it has been great.

Default Love it

I installed mine today.

So far I am extremely happy with the fit/quality of the top. I've had trektops NX's(non twill) on my last two four doors, and this far exceeds those in terms of quality of materials and fitment(You could almost confuse it for a hardtop from a few feet away.)

Is anyone running this top full time in the north? How is it in the snow, ice? How about through a car wash when it's freezing out?

I haven't had any issues with snow and ice top is holding up great.

I do have a leak somewhere with the rear glass, but I think it was my fault as part of the installation.

Check the top by the hinges mine were defective, I got a lot of water in from the gap at the top of the window, and the rear window actually shattered due to the hinges pushing the glass out and I had to get a replacement.... but other than that I like the top....
