Did you find indexing the rear springs to be clear? The instructions are not clear and I cannot get anyone on the phone today at AEV.

I've changed rear springs twice and haven't seen any index point on the axle. The front has an index point that should be used.

The AEV instructions mention indexing the rears. Makes me wonder if some years/models have a rear index point and others don't.

There is a little pocket for the end spring coil to fit into on the axle side. If I recall correctly it is only on the front axle.

AEV 2.5" & Geometry Correction brackets w/ 35" Maxxis Bighorn on 17x9 Liquid Metal Gatlin -10mm offset. Used Teraflex Exhaust expansion kit for 2012 4dr.

Auto 5spd w/ 3.73 but will need to re-gear to 4.88 because I haul a camper and hit the trails. Lost a little pep w/ 35s. Towing 3500lbs up Wolf Creek Pass CO and the new motor works hard running in 2nd @ 5800rpm pedal to floor @ 40mph. I think I can, I think I can...

Need to trim the modified Mopar rock rails and body seam to allow more room for tire. Just towing camper and hitting a few whoop dee dos in the road and I can get tire rub. Can't imaging what it could be like on a Moab trail if left alone. I noticed that AEV trims them on their conversion Jeeps.

On paved roads I run 25-30psi and when towing camper I bump it to 30-35psi. Runs nice and smooth on streets and at preset getting approx 15mpg around town and 13.5mpg when towing camper. Hope to see a little better after re-gear.

Off road I have only drove it on sand and on forest roads so far. Not satisfied yet. Feels sloppy when driving 15-20mph over ripples and small rocks on forest and desert roads. Steering wheel stats straight but front tires feel bouncy like I'm going to loose control if I don't slow down. Thinking of trying a Rancho steering stabilizer kit and re-balancing and aligning wheels.

Going to Moab in late September to pre-run some trails for the JJUSA Moab event in October. It will be interesting to see how it handles over large rocks at crawl speeds. Hope to be re-geared before Oct.

The spring rate and shock damping is probably tuned for a lighter wheel/tire combination than yours. From the description it sounds like the tires are not keeping contact with the ground, which is the job of the shocks. Those shocks aren't adjustable AFAIK so the only way to tune the system is to play with the tire pressure.

If there is also some side-to-side wobble or instability in the steering, a better steering damper could help a lot.

I just had this put on my 13 JKUR with the geometry brackets and I am extremely pleased with it! I'd say it definitely handles and feels better than stock! If your undecided... Do this lift, it's excellent.
I'm headed to Moab and Colorado in 10 days and I'll provide some off-road feedback.

I have this all sitting in my cart on Northridge site. Along with the front JKS disconnects and JKS trackbar (front).

What (if any) are you guys seeing for shock wear? Rust or paint failure. I'm mostly just curious because i was going to do the RK 2.5 max flex kit with Fox aluminum shocks being in the rust belt. But there again its more $.

It seems like this kit is more 80/20 freindly.. 80 (driving to work) and--> 20 (weekend trail runs)

If everything is in stock i will bite the wallet and order tomorrow.
