#161
2011 rubicon unlimited hardtop.........I gained 3.5" in the front and 3" in the rear. Stock bumper is in the front and a genrite/AEV tire carrier in the back.
2. 5 with the correction brackets
The steering is more precise , and the ride is greatly improved. Very pleased with the lift
Hope that helps

Note: If your measurement is less than 5 1/2 inches we do not recommend these brackets
1) If your measurment is greater than 9 inches adjustable control arms may be required to achieve proper caster angle.
2) If your measurement is 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches you'll install the upper control arm in the upper hole location (2.5") as illustrated on page 4 of the install sheet.
3) If your measurment is 7-8 inches you'll install the upper control arm in the middle hole location (3.5") as illustrated on page 4 of the install sheet.
4) If your measurement is from 8 to 9 inches you'll install the upper control arm in the lower hole location (4.5") as illustrated on page 4 of the install sheet.

You decide which holes to use based on the distance from the frame rail to the spring perch. That way all things are equal; the height gained it entirely dependant on your previous set-up and bumper/winch etc. In that I mean that if your stock suspension was bagged out and you gained 4 inches vs a brand new stock spring in which you might gain 2.5 you should still put the bolt in the same hole because at the end of the day both vehicles ended up at the same ride height(Perch to frame distance is equal). This is assuming both vehicles are equal in every other way.

Message from AEV about my 2012JKU Rubicon
Attachment 312675
2012 JKU Rubicon with the 2" fr and 1" bk TF leveling kit
Hello Steve,
With our 2.5inch lift you do not need either of those two things. Our lift is designed to be used without the need for those. The driveshaft should not hit and with such a small lift we recommend leaving the factory track bar in place.
Thank you,

This came right from them today about their lift installed on my 4 door Rubicon. Anybody had trouble with the 3:73 gears in the auto with 35"?

So I am assuming you used the bottom hole for 2.5". I'm asking because I have this kit w/ ca brackets sitting in the garage, but I have stock bumpers..etc. After hearing so many with that type of setup say they got 3.5" I've been curious if anyone has been using the next hole up. Thanks

I have a 2012, auto with 3.73 gears. Where I live it's mostly flat and I don't like it. There is power when you step on it hard but it lost it's immediate throttle response and pep that i loved. At 65-70 mph it will only hit overdrive if the wind is at your back or you're going down hill.
I talked to David from Northridge, in a couple months I'll be installing 4.88's. I believe they sell a set for $550.
