I pulled the plastic fender lining down by removing 4 or 5 of the (don't know what you call them) snap in screws which allowed for easier access to the top of the shock from under the fender from the front side. It was still a challenge but much easier than impossible.

AEV 2.5" lift with geometry correction brackets and teraflex exhaust spacers. Those are the stock 255/75's on the XD addicts for the meantime until i re-gear. I have 3.21's and i'm thinking to going to 4.10's or 4.56 before i put 35's on it.
The ride is excellent and definitely an improvement over stock. I am very happy with the quality of this lift

Sure, Jeep engineers make necessary adjustments in their designs all the time like relocating the evap canister and adding an auto transmission cooler. sorry, now back to your regularly scheduled program.

I just install this kit last week on my 2012 unlimited Rubicon. With new drive shaft & geometry correction brackets, the install took 8 hours. I had read the directions a dozen times before starting which helped.
So how is it? The ride is incredible! I have 35x12.50-17Mickey Thompson MTZ. Going down the highway at 70, you take your hands off the wheel it tracks perfectly straight. There is far less slop and rebound in the shocks going down the road.
Turning & cornering, the thing handles better than stock. I want to say almost sports car like but it's still a Jeep on 35's but you get what I'm saying. Breaking is also solid.
I didn't take before and after measurements but the factory rake appears to be significantly reduced but still has a minimal rake to it. That could happen to be from aftermarket bumper and winch. At the same time, I do have aftermarket rear bumper and a 35" spare.
I'll try to post some pics when the weather cooperates.
Overall, I couldn't be happier!

Mine will be here on Tuesday. I already have the drop brackets sitting at home waiting. Also picked up the hardware kit from Northridge4x4 to replace trackbar and lower CA bolts. I will post up as soon as it is installed...hopefully next Saturday.
