Like this? Let me know if you want a different angle. I haven't really taken any others yet...

I am running 1.5" spydertrax spacers, yes. Without them there is a rub in front but only at full turn. Right now the tires stick out about 1/2"-3/4" past the fenders.

My kit just arrived. I also got the geometry kit. Now to find time this weekend to install it. Glad I read this thread as it sounds like the front shocks are going to be a pain to install.

It will totally depends on what trails you want to run. A lifted JK on 33s could handle quite a bit of Moab. If you want to handle the really hardcore stuff, you're probably not looking at an AEV kit to begin with.

Default Fresh Install

I recently intalled the AEV 2.5 XT with geometry correction brackets. I went this route because by the time I added the 5100's to the TF 2.5 lift it was nearly the same price. With the AEV it just seemed like better value with the progressive springs, modified track bar, and more solid IMHO trackbar relocation bracket. Both kits are suited to the local trails, we don't have that hardcore Moab crawling, it's more exploration and old de-activated logging roads.

After the lift I am sitting at 5.5" frame to spring perch measurement. which gives exactly 2.5" of suspension lift over my stock setup. With the 35's the Jeep as a whole gained ~3.5-4" depending on tire pressure.

My tips on the install are follow the direction, I loosened all the control arms and torqued them with the weight of the jeep on them. As for the relocation brackets, they seem to work great. REMOVE the bolt attaching the upper control arm to the axle then remove the one on the frame end and it will just fall out without any need to cut it or use a pry bar/ratchet strap.

As far as ride, I am happy with it, it soaks up the big frost heaves on the logging roads with easy @80Km/h body roll is similar to stock, and cracks in the pavement etc are as smooth as stock at 30psi, you don't even notice them at <25psi. Shocks are alright. Going over those frost heaves(I took a couple runs at them) I found them to be slightly under damped and could be stiffer, but that could detract from the softer stage of the progressive springs. As far as overall ride under damped is better much than over damped, so it was a good choice on AEV's part.

I also got 30" of flex out of it @ 25PSI
