Default New advice

I had some advice from a neighbor tonight that I'm stupid to rock 35x12.5R17's with some 17x9's and not 17x10's. Thoughts?

OK, sorry, here's a real response. The tire will fit the wheel, in fact when airing down it will hold the bead a little better. You will want to get wheel spacers though as you will rub with that size tire. I'm assuming you're running stock wheels. I have 35x12.50r17 on my stock wheels and have a 1.5" wheel spacer. Also at least 2" lift is a good idea

A lift is always needed when running 35's unlesss you have flat fenders. A suspension lift, body lift or flat fenders will all give you the clearance you need. Personally I would do a 2.5 lift. You don't have to change drive shafts at that size.

Yeah thats what I figured. I'm either going with 17x8.5's or 17x9's. I have a 3.5 AEV SC lift and 35x12.5R17's. I just need to figure out what wheels I'm going to go with. I think I'm going to go with the new pro comp 17x8.5 5029's or maybe 17x9 Method Race Double Standards. Choices.... Choices.....
