Buying a 2014 JKUS that has 3.21 w/auto trans. I'm stepping up to 4.88 (I know I'll need a new carrier for the Dana30). If I install the gears, use a procal to change settings, will I have any issues running stock size tires? 35's are on the list to get. My thoughts were to get the gear set and not the overhaul set since the car will only have 100+ miles on it (no need for new bearings) Get that knocked out, some flat fenders, 35's, then a lift. All over a period of time cause like most of us I don't have tons of cash lying around to do it all at once.

You will be OK but your RPM will be pretty high on the freeway.
3100rpm @ 70mph
3340rpm @ 75mph
3550rpm @ 80mph.
Since your changing out your front carrier you should get a truetrac or locker.
