Yep, they are pretty soft. I don't DD mine anymore, so it's not that big a deal to me (and again, I just couldn't pass up the deal I got).

My lift is actually about a 3" lift and I only have 33's so they don't rub,but I may trim the pinch seam for a little peace of mind

This is a crazy hard decision I cant choose between the nitto trail grapplers and the toyos M/T might have to see them in person.

I run 35 Toyos and I love them. About 5000 miles now and I can barely tell that they have any miles on them at all. And with a teraflex leveling kit and chopped fenders I clear really well. I know wayalife runs Toyos on his monster and got like 50 or 60 thousand out of his last set. Awesome tires

I just put the Toyo MT 35" on mine this weekend. They look awesome, balanced easy & ride quiet (they have the hum that any 35 would have ). I was also down to the Nitto's & Toyo's, and would have been happy with either. I chose the Toyo's & purchased through treaddepot.com (didn't carry Nitto's) because they were cheaper than the Nitto's on another's website (didn't carry Toyo's). I think you'll be very happy with either!

Mine are wearing great. They have become a little louder, but not bad at all. I rotate them every 3k miles
