I also used grip tape on the Shrockworks sliders...but I used a peel and stick 3M meant for boat decks....its stayed on for years now, and looks the same...pretty tough for $5.



One thing I did realize on the grippy textured stuff...do not wrap the sides of the bars....just do the top step area itself...

...otherwise, your passengers will scrape off some flesh from their calves, etc getting out.



I HAD wrapped the sides too, thinking the tape might delaminate, etc...but, the damn stuff sticks tight, the weather and bog water etc I slosh through had no effect on it....so I cut the side part off after taking a pound of flesh from a few unwitting victims.
