As I've gotten older I find that I stick by that quote much more often than not these days especially when it comes to things I need to rely on. Even if it's something that I may use only once per year, I expect that thing to work correctly when I need it. I hate spending $$ on cheaply made crap.

Even on something like side view mirrors so I can run doorless, I decided to go the cheap route. You ask yourself, "$35 side mirrors? How bad can the mfg really be? How bad can they really F' these up?" Only 1 season through and they started to rust out, wind knocks them out of place, etc. Now I'm having to look at buying a different set. I hate spending $$ on cheaply made crap.

I had wet okole's (neoprene) in my 4runner in hawaii. Very high quality and lasted for years. But they held dog hair like a magnet and were very hot and sweaty. Plus if wet, they hold water for a while. The bartact's are a much better material. Rip stop, not sweaty, dog hair wipes off, and they are pretty much awesome all around. $500 vs $600- I'd go with bartact. Half the price of the jeep leather option if it makes you feel better.

I have wet Okles now and although they look great and fit very well, they faded extremely within a summer and they also wore out in the same spot on each seat in about a year. Nice, but not worth the money imo.

I have had both. Don't waste the money on neoprene. Save up and get the Trek Armor!! You'll never buy another seat cover again, unless you sell your Jeep. They are that good!

Another vote here for Trek Armor. I had a set of neoprene, and as others have said they faded fast and I hated them. I researched the forums and everyone was saying Trek Armor and I gave them a shot. They are going on 4 years old now, and have not faded. Dog hair does not seem to get stuck in them from the few times I have had our German Shepard on them. I know a few others I work with that I have recommended them to and no one has been disappointed in them.

Wow you guys gave me a lot to think about, and it seems the majority are saying trek armour, advice like that you have to listen too. So I will take a look at them and see if i can swing them. i was hoping to get them pretty soon as the weather is getting warmer (finally) which means the dogs are getting wet and dirty.

Trek armor - fit like.a glove, look great, waterproof and they have the military loops to attach storage to the back of the seats. You will be very happy with the puchase. Not hot at all either.

My Trek Armors faded. They have a 3 year no fade guarantee but when I called they said there isn't anything they can do for me. The milspec colors are not covered under the warranty. So be careful when ordering. I wish I knew that before spending $500

Something tells me there is something more to your story than you are explaining. I have had an issue and could not believe the extent they went to to make sure I was happy, even after I told them I as good with what they were doing they continued to go over and beyond. Did you order some special color that isn't a normal option or something?
