Default Neoprene or ballistic nylon seat covers

finally going to get seat covers for the jk. I cant decide between the neoprene or ballistic nylon. This jeep is road jeep, but hopefully can take off the beaten path someday. My main concern is we have two dogs that get muddy wet and nasty.

I am thinking neoprene would be better to keep water off, but the ballistic nylon may hold up better to them jumping in and out and their claws. They are the same price so, trying to get some information from those with experience.

Thanks

I would recommend the nylon covers. They are waterproof and won't or shouldn't* fade like the neoprene. Neoprene will eventually turn purple or pink or whatever after a couple years in the sun.

Never thought about the fading, thanks for mentioning that.

I wish trek armour was within the budget, but unfortunatley it is not.

Have you looked at Headwaters or Marathon seat covers?

I went with the trek armor...
They have held up well to quite a bit of off-road use and have come clean with just a wet rag, not even soap was needed

x2 you'll get a year, maybe 2 out of a neoprene set - they're cheap for a reason, I had two sets and would suggest you avoid them.

If your dogs don't scratch, and wont rip the seats to pieces, look at Katzkin leather covers -- superb quality, waterproof and look great with custom options -- had mine 5+ years.

I went through 2 sets of Neoprene Cover Kings, because they were in budget........each one lasted a year, but that's only because I left them on for a year.......they were utter crap. The black turned purple in just 2 summer months.

I finally took them off a couple months ago, and was holding off on new covers as I also wanted to put in heated seats. After tons and tons of research the answer was pretty simple....spend the money on some good ones......I literally just put Trek Armor/Bartact covers on today. The quality, fit and finish is worth every penny.
