I am curious how the Moog end would fasten to the OEM rod, since the OEM end is crimped on and not intended to be replaced separately.

If you can weld I would recommend the ruff stuff kit. They are on sale 15% thru tomorrow midnight as well. Only like $125
"daylight" is the code for 15% off

I wonder the same. During my original searching I read that I should order both moog ends if I want to replace the worn oem ones. Now It looks like ive got $85s of ends with no rod to put them on.

I believe Rock Krawler tie rods use OEM tie rod ends.

Check out this one: It's made by Rock Krawler and designed to use OEM style tie rod ends.

The RK one uses the drag link pitman arm end which isnt the same as the stock tie rod ends. I suppose I will have to go with something completely new.
Whats is the cheapest tie rod that you guys would recommend? I dont feel the need to spend $500 on a tie rod but at the same time if Im going to upgrade I dont want junk.

The welding your own route seems nice but I HAVE to get a tie rod by friday so I can get it installed this weekend. I wouldnt be able to get it welded by then

If you have to buy a tie rod ready to go I would get the synergy.

That was my thought as well. I had a vendor contact me offering a deal on a Synergy tie rod and drag link a while back so Im trying to see if that offer is still on the table.

On a side note, I cant wait to get it all installed because these wheels will be awesome!
