I just got 35" MT ATZ's and love them! They ride great, and minimal noise.
But I am a little concerned... (550 miles on the tires)
I want to keep my stock Rubi's (I just like the stock look) but I am afraid the Mickey's are just too big.
MT recommends at least a 8.5" wheel for this tire, and I can see why.![crazyeyes](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/crazyeyes.gif)
Will I ruin these tires if I keep them on the stock rim?
The pics are at 28 psi.
The chalk test was a lil disappointing at 28 psi, and the profile of the tire shows I am only riding on the
center lugs. Will they relax a lil after they are broke in? or is this it?
Obviously I know the correct answer, but I want to see if this will work ok.

I don't think that you will ruin anything if you keep the stock wheels. I was about to trade in for a rubicon beauty the other day that had 37" x 12.5" Pitbull Rockers with the stock wheels, but it didn't pass inspection in Maryland because the tires were wider then the fenders
. It drove fine and I have also seen other rigs with > 35" tires and the stock rubicon wheels that ride fine.

I have seen 35" Toyo's, Nittos, BFG's and Wranglers... M/T's and A/T's... on stock rims.
But none of them seemed to pull the outer tread down like these ATZ's are doing.

Ok to answer the original question I think you just need to lower the tire pressure a little so that all the tread is running on the road. Now to hijack the tread lol I'm running 35" tires with a 3.5" lift the jeep is to tall for my vertically challenged wife n now with a baby on the way I was thinking about going to 33" tires anyone think it will look like shit or is it not that much of a notice? Any suggestions on steps?
