Default Need Tire Help!

i have 37x12.50r18 BFG all terrains and i desperately need mud terrains. i have been thinking about either the BFG km2 37x12.50r17 or the TOYO open country 37x13.50r17. i need help picking, any input at all will be helpful

he is correct on the km2's being a little on the small side. i would go with the 38 14.50 km2's and you will have a true 37 x 13. toyo's are heavy but a great tire, although i think they suck in the mud (at least on my diesel truck they do). i am currently running a 37 pitbull rocker and they are heavy and hard to balance but great offroad. i will go with the km2 in the size mentioned above or a 40 next. km2's are the best dual purpose tire i have ever had period. my only complaint (wich is also why i liked the ride prob) is the side wall is easy to puncture.

There are so many good reviews on the radial version.
Weight wise there lighter than the Toyo.
I always liked the traction of my Toyos, but hated the unstable sidewall flex.
yes they are the radials and pitbull has bent over backwards to help me, but i just can't get these to balance out right. my wheel and tire weigh in at 133 lbs a peice.

to the op run as big of a tire as you want to. i am bending multiple shafts with my rear 44 on 37's but my front has ben fine so far. your already runing a 37 so if you have no problems now you will most likely be fine on the same size tire as long as the weight is close to the same.

I'd go with the toyo's since the km2's are so off size. Also if you are needing an mt, the toyo sidewall is your friend. The km2 likes to tear out comparatively.

The stiffer sidewall also offers less sway and wander while on road doing dd duty.

i hate the mud, but the few times i have gone threw some it did great. if your a big fan of airing down (which i am) i recomend having beadlocks. these tires will not flex above 10 psi very well.
