Need Suggestions for Potential Problem(s) with my Setup
Ok... Here goes...
I have a 2008 Rubi Unlimited and I want to enhance performance as much as possible while either improving the factory ride or staying as close to it as possible. Currently, I have an AirRaid CAD installed and a Superchips Flash planned for the future. My potential problem comes from the following:
1) I want to add Nitto Terra Grapplers measuring 34.4" with either new rims that have 4.5" of backspacing or Spidertrax spacers with the factory rims.
2) I am adding a Rubicon Express budget boost with shock extensions to maintain the factory shocks.
3) I will not go over 35" tires for at least the next 3-years.
If anyone can point out a better setup or potential probs with this one, I would appreciate it mucho! Thanks

With tires that come close to 35s, I suggest a 2.5" to 3" lift kit is better. With the higher tire clearance, you will get much better off road performance and better looking. Also, you will need to regear your Jeep with 4.56 or even higher gear ratio, so that you will get the power back once you upgrade your current tires. In fact, the stock Rubicon gear ratio is 4.0:1 or 4.1:1, however, the stock tires are only close to 32".

You won't have to worry about the gearing. 410's with 35's is a lot better then my 3.73's with 35's. I can accelerate fast and passing people is not a problem and my offroad performance is great!
Normally, when people re-gear with an automatic Rubicon with 35's they go with 5.38's.
1. Since you have a four door, I think you may rub on your fenders with those tires. But, you can do one of the many great write-ups on "Home-Made Fender Trim".
2. If you're thinking about adding bumpers and armor/accessories it will weigh down your jeep by causing the budget boost to sag on your coils.
Recommendation is to get an exhaust paired up with your intake and Superchips

You won't have to worry about the gearing. 410's with 35's is a lot better then my 3.73's with 35's. I can accelerate fast and passing people is not a problem and my offroad performance is great!
Normally, when people re-gear with an automatic Rubicon with 35's they go with 5.38's.
1. Since you have a four door, I think you may rub on your fenders with those tires. But, you can do one of the many great write-ups on "Home-Made Fender Trim".
2. If you're thinking about adding bumpers and armor/accessories it will weigh down your jeep by causing the budget boost to sag on your coils.
