Need suggestion to make 35 inch tire rub free on stock suspension
I put new 35x12.5 MTR under my JK now. It is quite close to rub.
To solve the problem I got two routes:
Route #1
-------------------------------------------------
cut the pinch seam in the rear wheel well
push the front bumper forward by 2 inches
-------------------------------------------------
Route #2
-------------------------------------------------
I just need a small lift to clear the tire, and I found Teraflex has two mild lift kit:
2.5 inch budget boost
Leveling kit (2 inch front, 1 inch rear)
They are both quite affordable.
-------------------------------------------------
If it is your JK, what is your choice?

Go with the budget boost. I don't think 1" in the rear is enougth (I can't believe how that sounded!).
Stubby your bumper too, cause that's just awesome!

I'd go the budget boost route. I wouldn't favor cutting on the pinch seam. It serves a purpose as does the seam on your clothes. Go with the lift.
