Default Need some tips

I recently put a 4" suspension lift and 35" tires on the jk. Needless to say there was a significant power loss. I even had a new engine put into it last week. thank you insurance. long story. what are somethings i can do to bring some power without completely destroying my engine? Let me know.

Welcome to the world of modifying Jeeps You make one mod then realize you need another ... it never seems to end.

Seriously though. What gears do you have currently? You could regear to get in the correct power band with your new 35's. (4.88, 5:13 etc ...). There are also programmers out there that will help as well.

As mentioned, gears are your best option. A supercharger or a hemi would work too! Programmers are good but won't give you back the power that you lost.

As has been said, gears are the number one thing that will help.

You will be amazed at the difference that gears will make . I went 5.13s with an auto and a procal to match everything up. and believe it or not I have more power now than before. on both low end and top end. feel free to pm me with any questions. I went straight to the source for my gear install. I had the dana tech that actually brought the gearset for the JK into existence from a cad drawing. he is a wealth of information. on the subject.

all good answers! for 35s IMO your best bet woul be 5:13, as far as price it can be very different depending where your located, but always go with someone with experience on the subject.

Go get the Superchips Flashpaq..I have a Teraflex 3" lift (actually 4.25") and 35" tires and 4:10's and I thought my only hope to gain some power back would be to re-gear....until I purchased the Flashpaq. Simply put it's AMAZING! I not even considering regearing now..

Do you have a Rubicon?

Northridge4X4.com = $308.00 total cost to your door! You'll never get your rig re-geared for that price!

What are you plans for your Jeep? If you aren't going to wheeling it very hard you could probably get away with just the flashpaq. But if you are going to get into anything serious you'll want to re-gear.
