Default Need some help/Advice

Hey all,

So im finally going to lift my JK and im looking to see if anyone is running a similar setup and wanted to know if there were any issues.

Im going with a BDS 4.5 lift and was looking to run XD addicts and Toyo MT's. The XD's are 17x9 with a 4.5 backspace and the Toyo's are 35 x 12.5. Actual size is 34.8 tall and 13.2 accross. I guess my biggest concern is that the 4.5 backspace will not be enough for a tire thats 13.2 wide and I may rub at full lock.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

4 1/2" lift is a little much for 35's. I would do more like 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" instead. If you were doing 37's it would be different. I did 3 1/4" with my 35's and looks and rides great

Hmmmmm....now you got me thinking. I just did some looking at JK's with 3" lifts and 35's and they do look nice!

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!! guess I have some thinking to do. I would love to go 37's at some point but there would be much more I would need to do since I have the 30 up front.

Im not going to be doing a lot of serious wheeling so maybe you have a point in going with the 3" and stick with 35's. Plus I could use the money I save to do some other mods. Just when I thought i had it figured out....
