Default Need some advice - tires / load range

Looking for some advice here...

I recently bought a used set of 275 70 18 Terra Grapplers, 10 ply / load range E for my JK which I use as a daily driver. They were about to be installed today, but I was advised by my mechanic that the ride would be horrific, and I would hate them. He suggested that I take them home, sell them, and find another set. Now they are sitting in my garage, and I am unsure how to move forward.

Is anybody running a similar setup or tire? I don't have any previous experience to go by, so I need a little help deciding if I need to put these tires up for sale or give them a try.

Any advice would be appreciate, and thanks in advance.

X2... Was a manager at a major tire chain for 5 years. Run 65, they'll beat you to death. 35 and they'll ride fine. Get into some rocks and you'll be glad you have that extra "armor" in your sidewalls. Run them or give them to me and I will.

10 ply should be an 80 psi tire. 8 should be 65. Either way, run 35 and enjoy.

I run 30 psi in my e-rated 35's and they ride good. If you run what is recommended on the side then yes they will ride bad. These tires are designed for heavy trucks. I would mount them and be done
